Applicant Identity & Travel Documents

• UK Standard Visitor visa application
• Biometric appointment confirmation
• Visa fee / application confirmation where applicable
• Passport-size photographs only if specifically required by the application centre

Purpose of Visit

• Personal cover letter explaining the purpose of the UK visit
• Proposed travel dates
• Intended duration of stay
• Details of the family members being visited
• Simple travel itinerary, where useful

Financial Evidence

• Recent personal bank statements
• Evidence of pension or retirement income, if applicable
• Fixed deposits, savings or other accessible funds, where relevant
• Evidence explaining any significant recent deposits
• If the UK-based child is paying some or all costs, clear sponsorship evidence

Evidence of Ties to India / Home Country

• Property ownership documents
• Land or property tax documents, where relevant
• Pension or retirement documentation
• Evidence of ongoing financial commitments
• Evidence of close family members remaining in India, where relevant
• Evidence of other genuine reasons to return after the visit

Property & Assets

• Property ownership documents for owned residential or other property
• Supporting valuation or property-related documents where useful
• Jewellery valuation or ownership evidence only where genuinely relevant
• Other substantial assets where they help demonstrate the applicant's overall circumstances

Documents from the Son / Sponsor in the UK

• Invitation letter
• Copy of passport
• Copy of current UK immigration status / eVisa evidence where appropriate
• Evidence of Skilled Worker permission
• Proof of UK address
• Recent bank statements if providing financial sponsorship
• Recent payslips if providing financial sponsorship
• Employment letter if useful
• Evidence of relationship with the parents

Accommodation Evidence

• Tenancy agreement, mortgage statement or other proof of accommodation
• Recent council tax or utility evidence where relevant
• Accommodation letter confirming that the parents may stay at the address
• Evidence that the accommodation is suitable for the visitors

Relationship Evidence

• Birth certificate showing parent-child relationship, where available
• Family documents supporting the relationship
• Marriage or name-change documents where names differ, if relevant

• Marriage certificate of the parents, where relevant
• Previous international travel history
• Copies of previous visas where relevant
• Evidence of previous compliance with immigration conditions
